Beet Detox Smoothie

Beet Detox Smoothie
Ever since I started consuming smoothie, I hope to concoct a detox drink weekly.  This time, beetroot[1] is my star ingredient.  Beetroot is a potent detox agent, but it is avoided by many due to its earthy flavour.  To overcome this, I added pineapple and red dragon fruit, both sweet and tasty fruits.
Without paring the skin of beetroot and cucumber skin, I gave these vegetables a good scrub using baking soda, follow by a 45min "spa" (soaked) in homemade eco-enzyme to get rid of pesticides and other harmful chemicals

Ingredients  (for 4 servings)

1 stalk of coriander
1 grapefruit, diced
5 slices of ginger
1 red dragon fruit, diced
3 thick slices of beetroot with skin
1 medium sized cucumber, diced
1 cup      fresh/frozen pineapple, diced

1TBS      black sesame powder
1TBS      flaxseed
1TBS      pumpkin seeds
1TBS      sunflower seeds
1TBS      walnut
1TBS      almond
1TBS      cashew nuts

400ml filtered water

Instructions

- Put the ingredients into the blender in the order listed above.

- Blend for one minute or less, depends on blender strength.
- Voila!  Sip this Beet Detox Smoothie!
