Creamy Avocado Yogurt Smoothie


Avocado is an incredibly nutritious "super fruit", packed with healthy fats, monounsaturated fat, that can help lower bad cholesterol, when eaten in moderation.  This fruit potentially lowers our risk of obesity, diabetes and heart disease.  As it is high in vitamin K, a nutrient essential for healthy bone, consuming this fruit helps in osteoporosis prevention.  It also contains antioxidants beneficial for our eye health.  The vitamin E it contains promotes healthier hair and skin.

Ingredients  (4 servings)

1                      Ripe avocado, sliced
1 large             Asian pear, diced
1 TBS              lemon juice

350ml              Plain yogurt

Instructions

- Put yogurt, then all the ingredients into the blender, starting with the softer ones.

- Blend for 50sec or less, depending on blender strength.
- Voila!  Creamy Avocado Yogurt Smoothie is ready!
